Job summary

Cixin Precision Metal Products in Pasig, Philippines seeks a skilled CNC machinist to operate and optimize machining centers, clamp and align workpieces, set tools and parameters, and start production with precision.

You will program and debug machines, review drawings, select tools, and perform first article inspection to ensure quality before mass production, while maintaining safe, clean, and well-documented operations.

Strong communication and a readiness to work shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining center experience.
• Proficient with FANUC and Mitsubishi control systems.
• Ability to independently program, debug machines, and perform trial cuts.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and select proper tooling.

Responsibilities

• Debug CNC machining centers according to production plans.
• Clamp workpieces, install cutting tools, set parameters, and start operation.

Job Description

• 1. Equipment Operation & Production Execution: Debug CNC machining centers as per production plans, clamp workpieces, install cutting tools, set machining parameters, and start operation.
• 2. Programming & Process Optimization: Proficiency in writing/modifying G/M codes, formulate reasonable machining processes based on drawings, and optimize cutting parameters to improve efficiency and precision.
• 3. Quality Control & Inspection: Verify drawings, tools, and materials before machining, conduct in-process inspections of workpiece dimensions during machining, and proceed with mass production only after the first article passes inspection.
• 4. Equipment Maintenance & Upkeep: Perform daily cleaning and lubrication of equipment, check tool wear and replace them in a timely manner, and report and handle equipment abnormalities promptly.
• 5. Safe Production & On-site Management: Comply with safe operation procedures, maintain a clean work area, and record production data (output, qualification rate, equipment operation status).

Job Qualifications

• 1. Skill Requirements: At least 3 years of practical experience in CNC machining centers, proficiency in operating mainstream systems such as FANUC and Mitsubishi, and ability to independently program, debug machines, and conduct trial cutting.
• 2. Professional Knowledge: Ability to read mechanical processing drawings, familiarity with the characteristics of common metal materials, and mastery of machining process knowledge such as tolerance fit and tool selection.
• 3. Tools & Software: Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators; priority given to those skilled in CAD/CAM software (e.g., UG, Mastercam).
• 4. Professional Quality: Strong sense of responsibility, attention to details, willingness to work shift schedules, and good communication and coordination skills as well as problem-solving abilities.
