Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a competent supervisor for our assembly and production team. The candidate will read and interpret engineering drawings, oversee assembly processes, and ensure adherence to quality and time standards.

Knowledge of SAP, 5S, TPM and Kaizen practices is essential. The role focuses on manpower utilization, instrument calibration, and guiding technicians to meet production targets while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of assembly processes and measuring instruments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of SAP and geometrical tolerances; familiarity with 5S, TPM and Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and ensure accuracy.
• Supervise assembly processes and manage manpower utilization.
• Ensure calibrated instruments are used and maintained.
• Prepare manpower utilization reports and guide technicians.
• Ensure adherence to 5S, TPM and Kaizen in production areas.
• Confirm production orders in the system and monitor timing.

Knowledge of processes related to assembly and different measuring instruments, Should have good communication and interpersonal skills, Knowledge of SAP, Good analytical and problem-solving skills, Able to read and interpret the engineering drawings, Should have sound knowledge in processes related to assembly, have good problem-solving skills, Knowledge of geometrical tolerances, Knowledge of resource management and supervisory skills, Knowledge of SAP, Ensure that all calibrated instruments are used. Preparation of manpower utilization report, Guiding and instructing the workers, Ensure & educate technicians to adhere to the 5S, TPM and Kaizen systems. Adhering to the time standards given by Manufacturing Engineering, Confirming the production order in the system. Ensuring Special processes like welding, Responsible for checking the skills of workmen/technician, Participation in preparation of a risk assessment register.
