Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Makati seeks a Spa & Wellness Supervisor to support the Director of Spa & Wellness in delivering exceptional experiences aligned with MOQA and LQE standards. You will supervise Spa Reception, Retail, Fitness Centre, and pools while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and revenue generation.

The role requires supervising a diverse team, maintaining high service standards, and collaborating across departments to deliver luxury guest experiences in Manila’s premier hotel project.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Spa, Wellness, Fitness or related field preferred.
• Professional certification in Fitness, Wellness, Recreation, Hospitality or related discipline.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a luxury spa, wellness, fitness, or hospitality environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of spa, fitness, recreation, and luxury guest service operations.
• Proven leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to drive operational excellence while supporting revenue and guest satisfaction objectives.
• Professional grooming and presentation aligned with Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Spa Reception, Retail, Fitness Centre, Swimming Pool and wellness facilities daily.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and service quality across all touchpoints.
• Lead standard operating procedures for safety, hygiene and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and other departments for seamless operations.
• Monitor facility safety, cleanliness and maintenance scheduling.
• Drive revenue through efficient reservations, cashiering and retail activities.
• Provide staff coaching, performance feedback and development opportunities.
