Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Makati in Manila is seeking a Sales & Events Coordinator to support pre-opening activities, drive market entry and brand positioning, and ensure smooth execution of sales and event operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with Sales & Catering leadership, act as liaison between clients and internal teams, manage inquiries and site inspections, and help prepare proposals, contracts, and client presentations for DOS and DOCE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, marketing, or related field.
• 1–2 years hotel sales experience; pre-opening experience is a plus.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or hotel sales systems experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support Sales & Catering leadership to ensure smooth daily activities.
• Act as liaison between clients and internal teams, capturing and communicating event requirements with precision.
• Manage walk-in inquiries and site inspections in managers' absence, maintaining a professional client experience.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, rate agreements, and client presentations for DOS and DOCE.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Reservations, Finance, and Operations to align sales strategies with delivery.
• Build databases, account profiles, and contact lists for pre-opening.
• Enter leads, bookings, and activities into Delphi to maintain data integrity.
• Develop sales collateral and brand presentations for market entry.
• Assist pre-opening tasks to ensure readiness and brand alignment.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries.
• Maintain filing systems for contracts and documentation for audits.
• Monitor account production and provide performance data to Sales Managers.
• Streamline reporting/documentation processes for accuracy.
