The LTL Logistics Coordinator supports daily operations by managing Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments, maintaining accurate carrier and freight records, and delivering professional customer service. This role is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of LTL freight experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include utilizing TMS platforms to monitor shipments, collaborating with internal account and sales teams, and proactively resolving operational or service issues.
Oversee day-to-day execution of LTL freight shipments and monitor delivery progress.
Validate and update shipment records, tracking status, and load documentation to maintain high accuracy.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing clear updates and status reports.
Leverage Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications to track metrics and update systems.
Collaborate closely with carrier sales, account management, and leadership teams to ensure smooth freight operations.
Identify potential delays or service issues, troubleshoot problems proactively, and accelerate complex concerns appropriately.
Perform other daily operational support tasks and administrative duties as required by immediate supervisors.
1 to 2 years of prior hands-on experience in LTL freight operations.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical work experience).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Solid understanding of LTL, truckload, and multimodal freight solutions.
Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS platforms).
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
