The Logistics Supervisor oversees daily operations related to the storage, distribution, and transportation of baked goods and commissary food items. Supervises delivery drivers, porters, and quality control staff; coordinates logistics processes; ensures compliance with regulations; and drives efficiency, cost reduction, and timely delivery of products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management
- Supervise inbound and outbound logistics including shipping, receiving, and transportation.
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups with internal departments, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Supervise and coordinate work of drivers, porters, QC staff, and admin coordinators.
- Provide training, performance monitoring, coaching, and discipline.
- Prepare work schedules and delegate tasks for optimal manpower allocation.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local logistics regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and costs.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure integrity of logistics activities.
Cost and Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction in logistics and transportation.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Assist in negotiating rates and terms with carriers and providers.
Coordination and Communication
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, operations, and customer service teams.
- Resolve delivery issues, complaints, or discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure smooth coordination during peak seasons or disruptions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Familiarity with Metro Manila and provincial Luzon routes.
- Strong knowledge of logistics systems, inventory control, and transportation methods.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
