Job summary

Phildex Industries & Development Corporation in Bulacan is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily transport, dispatch, and distribution operations, ensuring on-time deliveries and efficient route planning while coordinating with Sales, Projects, Trading, and Marketing teams.

You will monitor logistics costs, manage fleet maintenance, lead and train drivers and dispatchers, and prepare accurate operational reports for the Warehouse and Operations Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in logistics, transport, distribution, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse and transport management, route optimization, fleet safety, and logistics processes.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in process, safety, and cost improvement.
• Preferably experienced in warehouse management software/databases and residing near Brgy. Wakas, Bocaue, Bulacan.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transport, dispatch, and distribution operations to ensure on-time deliveries, efficient route planning, proper deployment of third-party transport units, and smooth coordination with Sales, Projects, Trading, and Marketing teams.

• Monitor logistics performance and costs by controlling delivery OPEX targets, tracking freight and transportation expenses, reviewing shipment schedules and ETAs, resolving delivery issues, and recommending process improvements in fleet, dispatch, and delivery operations.

• Manage fleet maintenance and vehicle compliance by overseeing preventive maintenance schedules, inspecting vehicles and equipment, investigating breakdowns, auditing trip reports, and ensuring road safety and operational standards are followed.

• Lead, train, and develop logistics personnel including drivers, dispatchers, checkers, and mechanics through coaching, safety programs, preventive maintenance training, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Prepare and submit accurate operational reports such as fuel consumption, maintenance costs, logistics performance data, and other reports required by the Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, and immediate superiors, while performing additional assigned duties as needed.
