Job summary

Clayton is hiring a Transportation Customer Success Specialist on location to manage shipment scheduling for retailers, communities, and other destinations. You will input data into the Transportation Management System and clearly communicate scheduling details to Private Fleet Driver Supervisors and partner carriers.

The role emphasizes a customer-first mindset, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Oracle TMS and MS Office. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, Supply Chain or Logistics Management or 3 years of relevant experience.
• 3 years of related experience in customer care coordination/administration.
• Experience with Transportation management systems, preferably Oracle.
• Customer First Mindset.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in AS-400 and MS Office Products, including Excel and Outlook email organization.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Must be well organized and able to effectively manage time.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedules shipments with retailers, communities, and destinations.
• Acts to resolve transportation issues by clarifying rules, identifying causes, and implementing best solutions.
• Keeps records of customer interactions and processes data.
• Communicates service requirements to customers, drivers, and carriers.
• Coordinates and confirms service levels and timelines with stakeholders.
• Maintains documentation and files related to shipments.
