Job summary

Monolith Construction and Development Corporation is seeking a Logistics Officer to organize and manage warehousing, storage and distribution for relief items in Manila and provincial assignments.

The role requires warehousing experience, strong coordination with transport providers, and collaboration with MR and MAMG departments on programme deliveries and compliance with authorities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course.
• Experience in warehousing or related field is required.
• Familiarity with construction materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and organize logistics for transport, receipt, handling, storage and distribution of relief items.
• Interact with third party logistics service providers.
• Prepare for receipt of international shipments and liaise with authorities for tax exemptions, port clearances, and timely delivery of relief items.
• Liaise with MAMG department heads involved in programme implementation and assist in logistics and procurement matters.
• Make regular trips to verify materials received and accounted for; coordinate with clearing agents, shipping and insurance companies as needed.
• Devise stock control methods, monitor warehousing management, and submit stock situation reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assesses and organizes logistics in terms of transport requirements, receipt, handling, storage and distribution of relief items and establishes proper warehousing and recording systems including assets
• Interact with third party logistics service providers
• In cooperation with MR Engineer, prepare for receipt of international shipments, and liaises with competent authorities for tax exemptions, port clearances, etc. and the timely delivery of relief items to the beneficiaries;
• Liaises and keeps close contacts MAMG department heads involved in programme implementation and assists them in all matters pertaining to logistics and procurement;
• Carries out regular trips to ensure that materials forwarded to projects has been received and properly accounted for at their destinations, and in case of loss or damage follow up with clearing agents, shipping and insurance companies in liaison with MR;
• Devises methods of stock control, closely monitors warehousing management, and regularly submits situation reports on stocks, equipment and prepositioned goods;
• Other tasks maybe assigned from time to time.
