Job summary

COMMSEC INC. is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage warehousing, storage, and distribution from our Metro Manila office. You will coordinate shipments, monitor inventory, and work with 3PLs to meet service levels, while ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.

You will report to the Logistics Manager and play a key role in improving efficiency, accuracy, and cost control across day-to-day logistic operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control or 3PL environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/WMS systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to identify improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling transport and tracking delivery status.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels; reconcile physical stock with ERP/WMS records.
• Work with 3PLs and vendors to meet service level agreements and improve efficiency.
• Manage shipping documentation: packing lists, bills of lading, origin certificates, invoices.
• Analyze logistics performance and propose cost-saving/process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, import/export laws and internal policies.
• Liaise with procurement, warehouse/operations, finance to support supply-chain needs.
• Conduct or support physical inventory counts and report variances.

About the role

As a Logistics Specialist at COMMSEC INC., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehousing, storage, and distribution operations. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this full-time position is based in our Metro Manila office and will involve overseeing the day-to-day logistics activities to support the overall growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling transport, tracking delivery status, and communicating with carriers, suppliers, internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, perform reconciliations between physical stock and system records (ERP/WMS) and identify discrepancies.
• Work with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and vendors to ensure service level agreements are met, coordinate logistics activities and improve efficiency.
• Manage documentation and logistics data: shipping instructions, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, invoices, etc.
• Analyze logistics performance (delivery lead time, cost per shipment, inventory turnover, etc.) and propose process improvements to reduce cost, increase speed and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, import/export laws (where applicable) and internal policies.
• Liaise with other internal departments (procurement, warehouse/operations, finance/accounting) to ensure smooth supply‑chain flow and to support business needs.
• Conduct or support physical inventory counts (cycle counts, annual counts), prepare reports, and follow up on variances.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Typically 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control or with a 3PL environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/WMS systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills (to interpret data and logistics metrics) and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to work with internal teams and external vendors/3PLs.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills; must be detail-oriented.
• Flexible and willing to work onsite, occasionally in warehouse or field operations, depending on the role.
