Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Load Planner or similar logistics coordination role.
• Strong knowledge of load optimisation and vehicle capacity management.
• Proficiency with load planning software and logistics management systems.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for logistics challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in shipment planning and documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule load assignments to maximise vehicle utilisation and minimise costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service for timely shipments.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays or issues during transit.
• Optimise routing and consolidate loads to improve efficiency and reduce impact.
• Maintain records of load plans, shipments, and related documentation.
• Analyse freight data and recommend continuous improvements in logistics.
• Communicate with drivers and partners to ensure load spec compliance and safety.
• Prepare reports on load performance, utilisation rates, and cost analysis.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency.
