Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Load Planner or similar logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of load optimization and capacity management.
• Proficiency with load planning software and logistics systems.
• Excellent organizational and multi-shipment management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule load assignments to maximize vehicle utilization and minimize transportation costs
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely shipments
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any delays or issues that may arise during transit
• Optimize routing and consolidate loads to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact
• Maintain accurate records of load plans, shipments, and related documentation
• Analyze freight data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in logistics operations
• Communicate with drivers and logistics partners to ensure compliance with load specifications and safety standards
• Prepare reports on load performance, vehicle utilization rates, and cost analysis
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency
