A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Learning Management System Administrator to manage and optimise Engie's LMS platform, ensuring seamless delivery of training content across the organisation. The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of LMS configuration and reporting, and hands‑on experience managing user accounts, course structures, and system integrations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- User & Access Management
- Manage user lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, role updates) via manual entries, batch CSV imports, or HRIS automated syncs
- Define and enforce role‑based access controls across learners, instructors, line managers, and external partners
- Build structured user groups, departments, and dynamic audience segments to automate targeted course assignments
- Track learner progress, completion rates, and assessment scores in real time
- Content & Curriculum Deployment
- Import and test e‑learning packages within the platform
- Structure course catalogs, define sequential learning paths/curriculums, configure completion criteria, and tag metadata for searchability
- Archive sunsetted courses, deploy content updates, and manage version control without resetting historical completion records
- Data, Analytics & Compliance Reporting
- Pull reporting on knowledge check performance to identify content or skill gaps early
- Monitor key metrics, including completion rates, assessment scores, and overall platform adoption
- Tie training completion data to downstream performance metrics, such as QA scores and productivity, supporting data driven decisions on where to adjust curriculum
- Configure and schedule automated reports tailored for department heads, leadership, and external auditors
- Track mandatory, regulatory and compliance module certifications to ensure timely re‑certification cycles
- Technical Support & System Operations
- Resolve user-facing operational issues, including authentication failures, missing access, video rendering bugs, and SCORM scoring errors
- Maintain backend settings, portal branding, custom domains, and automated system triggers/notifications (in collaboration with IT)
- Oversee operational syncs between the LMS, HRIS platforms, SSO providers and web conferencing tools (in collaboration with IT)
- Partner with the LMS vendor to log platform bugs, request features, and track service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Quality Assurance & User Experience
- Develop clear user guides, SOPs, and walkthrough videos for instructors and end‑users
- Conduct systematic pre‑launch QA checks on new courses to verify link integrity, navigation flow, and scoring triggers.
A BIT ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience as a Learning Management System Administrator or similar LMS support role
- Strong technical troubleshooting and systems configuration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with LMS platforms (e.g. Rise Up, Sage, Cornerstone, Docebo, SAP SuccessFactors, Moodle)
- Understanding of SCORM/xAPI standards and content packaging
- Experience generating and interpreting training and compliance reports
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, user requests, and deadlines simultaneously
