The LMS Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and day-to-day support of the
organization's Learning Management System. The role ensures that employees have appropriate access
to learning programs, training assignments, courses, assessments, and learning resources while
maintaining accurate learning records and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the organization's LMS.
- Create and maintain users, courses, learning paths, curricula, and training assignments.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions.
- Enroll employees in required training.
- Maintain course catalogs and learning records.
- Monitor course completion and overdue training.
- Maintain accurate employee learning records.
- Generate standard and ad hoc LMS reports.
- Prepare training completion and compliance reports.
- Troubleshoot LMS access and functionality issues.
- Respond to employee and trainer LMS inquiries.
- Upload and maintain training materials, assessments, videos, and e-learning content.
- Coordinate with Instructional Designers and trainers to publish content.
- Support LMS upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
- Maintain LMS documentation and procedures.
Required Qualifications & Characteristics
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Training, Information Systems, or related field
preferred.
- 2+ years of LMS administration experience.
- Experience with an enterprise LMS preferred.
- Experience supporting US-based clients, employees, or stakeholders preferred.
- Experience working with UKG or another enterprise HRIS preferred.
- Experience managing employee learning records and reporting.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of SCORM/e-learning content preferred.
