Bauer Foundations Philippines Inc. is seeking a Lifting Supervisor to oversee site lifting activities and ensure safe execution of operations at our project sites in the Philippines. The role involves reviewing lifting plans, validating gear conditions, and enforcing HSE standards.
You will lead toolbox meetings, train riggers, and coordinate with HSE Lead/Construction Manager to maintain safe lifting practices and regulatory compliance.
The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for the general assessment of the site, overseeing the set-up, and ensuring the safe and proper execution of the site works and operations.
1. Set up and review/approve lifting plan for all activities.
2. Ensure that all lifting gears and cranes are in proper condition to carry our required lifting procedures.
3. Ensures all lifting is in accordance with the existing HSE rules and client's specifications.
4. Ensure that at all times a valid permit is in place.
5. Actively participate during toolbox meetings with riggers and operators
6. Conduct inhouse training for new and existing riggers and crew
7. Ensure all activities are carried out as per BAUER HSE practices.
8. Ensure cranes are safe to use and inform HSE Lead/Construction Manager if something is not correct.
9. Stop lifting activities in case an unsafe act will be observed and conduct standdown meeting with all involved.
10. Prepare reorder for lifting gears in case something got damaged and coordinate with the Construction Manager accordingly.
11. Ensure LMI of equipment is always set properly.
12. Ensure daily inspection of equipment will be carried out and checklist is submitted as required.
13. Prepare reports in case the lifting gears get damaged with RCA, and ensure that the damaged lifting gears will be disposed properly and not reused.
14. Participate with meetings with client if required.
15. Organize the HSE Lead required Third Party Inspection of equipment as per DOLE regulations.
16. Effectively and timely communicates relevant information to superiors, resolve and /or escalates issues, and understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
17. Other duties as directed by his superior.
