Qualifications

• At least 6-15 years of experience in lifting/rigging operations.
• Experience supervising crane and heavy lifting activities.
• Knowledgeable in rigging equipment, lifting procedures, and safety standards.
• Certification as Lifting Supervisor or related is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making abilities.
• Safety-conscious and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site.
• Ensure compliance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures.
• Inspect lifting equipment and rigging arrangements before operations.
• Coordinate with the crane operator, rigger, signalman, and site team.
• Ensure proper positioning and securing of loads.
• Monitor site conditions and lifting hazards.
• Stop lifting operations when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Ensure proper communication and coordination during lifting activities.
• Maintain lifting records and report any incidents or concerns.
