TECHNICAL CIVIL ENGINEER
Structural Review & Cost Control
Lifestone-Construction Co. is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and technically driven Licensed Civil Engineer to join our growing Technical Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for structural evaluation, quantity surveying, cost estimation, and technical coordination to ensure project accuracy, quality, and cost efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct structural reviews of engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and proposed construction works
- Evaluate structural details, design revisions, and additional works, providing sound technical recommendations
- Perform quantity surveying, detailed quantity take-offs, and material verification
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates, budgets, and construction costing reports
- Prepare, review, and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Prepare cost evaluations for additional works, variation orders, and project revisions
- Analyze and verify material quantities, labor requirements, and construction costs
- Coordinate with Design, Technical, and Project Management Teams to support project execution
- Conduct site inspections and technical assessments as required
- Perform other engineering, technical documentation, and office-based responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and applicable building codes and standards
- Proven experience in structural plan review and identification of potential design and construction concerns
- Strong background in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and construction costing
- Proficient in preparing and reviewing Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Knowledgeable in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, including reviewing, interpreting, and preparing technical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other engineering, estimating, and project management tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Membership in the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP) is an advantage
- Experience in residential construction and Design-and-Build projects is highly preferred
- Must know how to drive and possess a valid driver’s license
