Job summary

Private Advertiser in Makati is seeking a Site Civil Engineer for immediate deployment to a high-end residential project in Paranaque City. You will oversee daily site operations including structural and civil works, manpower, subcontractors, and quality control, coordinating with management to meet schedules and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a PE license in the Philippines, 4+ years on-site experience, and strong AutoCAD and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines.
• At least four years of continuous site construction experience.
• Experience in high-end residential construction is strongly preferred.
• Knowledgeable in rebar works, formworks, concrete pouring, quantity takeoff, and cost estimates.
• Able to interpret and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings.
• Experienced in managing manpower, subcontractors, schedules, and site activities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and construction documentation.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to work full-time on site in Dasmariñas Village, Makati.
• Must be available for immediate or short-notice deployment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily structural, civil, masonry, architectural, and finishing activities.
• Implement works according to approved plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Prepare daily work schedules and manpower assignments.
• Monitor workers, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment on site.
• Review architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical, and other MEPF plans.
• Coordinate drawing discrepancies and site concerns with architects, engineers, and project management.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, material requests, estimates, and accomplishment reports.
• Prepare and check rebar cutting lists, formwork requirements, and concrete pouring preparations.
• Conduct pre-pour inspections and monitor concrete placement and curing.
• Evaluate subcontractor accomplishments and billing quantities.
• Monitor material usage, delivery, storage, and wastage.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure correction of defective or nonconforming work.
• Monitor the construction schedule and recommend recovery measures for delayed activities.
• Enforce site safety, cleanliness, and proper construction procedures.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports with supporting photographs.
• Attend coordination meetings and report project concerns to management.
• Perform other site engineering duties necessary for successful project completion.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Company is urgently looking for a qualified and experienced Site Civil Engineer for immediate deployment to our high-end residential construction project in Paranaque City.
