Job summary

Mary Grace Cafe is seeking a Cadet Engineer to ensure optimal performance of store and cafe equipment, machinery, and facilities to deliver The Goodness of Home to customers.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting the Engineering Supervisor, and coordinating with technicians across locations. Travel to various Mary Grace Cafe sites is required, with start as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Must have licensed mechanical engineer credentials.
• 6 months of experience in property/facility management or HVAC/kitchen equipment repairs is preferred.
• Strong communication in verbal and written form; good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimum performance of facilities, equipment, tools, and machines through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Assist the Engineering Supervisor in repairs and maintenance activities.
• Manage work plan assignments and coordinate with technicians in the area.
• Maintain systematic filing of documents.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the work area.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders in tasks.
• Create required reports and perform tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head.
