Job summary

Team Global Facility Solutions Inc. seeks a Licensed Mechanical Engineer to join our Ortigas office in Pasig City, Metro Manila.

The role covers design, installation, maintenance, and optimisation of mechanical systems to ensure peak performance while complying with engineering standards. Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with PRC certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of work experience.
• Strong CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, power generation, and building mechanical systems.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical codes, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment in accordance with engineering principles and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections, maintenance schedules, and performance evaluations of mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and facility managers, to integrate mechanical systems into facility projects.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes to maximise equipment lifespan and minimise operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in all mechanical engineering work.
• Prepare cost estimates, project proposals, and feasibility studies for mechanical engineering projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to facility operators and maintenance teams.
• Monitor and optimise energy efficiency and sustainability of mechanical systems.

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Ortigas office in Pasig City, Metro Manila. What we’re looking for

• Professional license as a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC certification required)


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution


• Minimum of 6 months of work experience


• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent)


• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, power generation, and building mechanical systems


• Excellent understanding of mechanical engineering codes, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements


• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members


• Experience with energy audits, sustainability practices, and green building standards is preferred


• Knowledge of facility management software and systems is advantageous
