Job summary

Triton Constructions Development Corporation is seeking a Safety Engineer/Officer in Manila to lead health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction projects. This full-time role develops and oversees safety programmes protecting workers, assets, and operations in line with Philippine regulations and international best practices.

You will conduct inspections, trainings, incident investigations, and audits, while maintaining records and driving continuous safety improvement across

Qualifications

• Valid PRC-licensed Civil Engineer (CE)
• 3–5 years of experience in construction safety
• In-depth knowledge of POSH standards and Building Code
• Certification in construction safety management (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH)
• Strong hazard identification, risk assessment and control measures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in safety documentation and incident reporting

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with Philippine regulations and international best practices
• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard assessments and implement corrective actions
• Provide safety training and orientation to construction personnel
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare detailed reports
• Monitor compliance with safety standards across sites and liaise with authorities
• Prepare documentation for safety audits and certifications
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct safety drills
• Maintain safety records, statistics and performance metrics
• Advise management on safety-related matters and risk mitigation
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings to promote a safety culture
