Job summary

GEOHARBOUR PHILIPPINES is hiring a Safety Officer to ensure health, safety and environmental standards across construction projects in the Philippines. This full-time role focuses on site safety, policy implementation and training, with reporting and team support.

The candidate will conduct inspections, investigate incidents and drive continuous improvement. A background in construction safety, strong regulatory knowledge and PC0 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
• Proficient with safety-related software and technology.
• PCO Certificate holder is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards.
• Develop, implement and monitor safety policies and training programs.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide safety guidance to project teams and maintain records.
• Collaborate with management to improve safety culture.
