Job summary

Q2 HR Solutions in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking an Architectural Design & Planning Manager to oversee architectural design, planning coordination, and project implementation to ensure that project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

You will work with design consultants, construction teams, and internal departments to ensure plans are cost-efficient, clash-free, and aligned with project objectives, while maintaining thorough documentation and embracing BIM where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in architectural design, interior design, planning coordination, and project implementation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and management skills.
• Ability to review technical plans and coordinate effectively with consultants, construction teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge or experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and planning coordination with external design consultants.
• Coordinate with construction teams to support the smooth implementation of project plans.
• Review and evaluate architectural plans to identify opportunities for value engineering, resolve design conflicts, and ensure clash-free implementation.
• Manage consultant budgets, contracts, and related project requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Permitting, and Operations teams to align project plans with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of design decisions, revisions, approvals, and project deliverables.
• Stay updated on emerging architectural design technologies, tools, and industry practices.
