Job summary

SM Engineering Design and Development Corp. seeks qualified candidates for an Architecture-based role based in MOA, Pasay or mall branches in Metro Manila.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture, a professional license, and at least 2 years of experience, with expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp. You will prepare plans, specifications, and documents for approvals and site implementation, coordinate with stakeholders, and monitor budgets and schedules to ensure compliance with SM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and professional license required.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, details and documents for management approval, meetings, coordination with stakeholders, budget estimates and site implementation.
• Prepare specifications, materials, color swatches, OSM checklist and budget, cost monitoring, architectural blue prints for Retail Affiliates, and related documents for approval or site implementation.
• Monitor and ensure project timelines, budgets, and compliance with SM standards and approved design criteria.
• Initiate ordering of architectural materials via bid or PR forms.
• Attend site inspections and monitor pre-construction, site status, mock-ups, and punch lists.
• Document and file project information from start to close-out for manager review.
• Assist design managers in paperwork to secure management approval.
• Ensure complete project close-out including certificates and payments to suppliers/contractors.
• Communicate issues to various departments and attend meetings with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties related to the project scope.
