Job summary

SMEDD Corp. in Pasay is seeking an Architect to prepare plans, specifications and documents for management approvals, meetings, coordination with stakeholders, budget estimates and site implementation.

You will revise drawings as needed and ensure work aligns with SM standards. The role requires at least 2 years of related experience, a professional architecture license, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Architecture is required.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Professional license is required.
• Willing to be assigned in MOA, Pasay or in any mall branches in Metro Manila.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, details and documents for Management Approval, meetings, coordination with stakeholders, budget basis, estimates and bids, and site implementation.
• Prepare specifications, materials and color swatches, OSM checklist and budget, cost monitoring, Architectural blueprints (Retail Affiliates only), and related documents for owner’s approval or site implementation.
• Monitor and ensure the project is within timeline and budget and compliant with SM Standards/design criteria.
• Initiate ordering of architectural materials via bid or PR form.
• Attend site inspections including pre-construction assessment and punch listing.
• Project documentation and filing from start to close-out for manager review.
• Assist DM/RDM in documentation to secure management approval.
• Responsible for securing complete project close-out (Certificate of Completions, payments to suppliers/contractors).
• Communicate issues to various departments and attend meetings with stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare plans, details and documents for either (1) Management Approval, (2) meetings, (3) coordination with different stakeholders (within internal or external relationships of the job scope), (4) basis for budget, estimates and bids, and (5) site implementation. This also includes drawing or document revision if necessary

• Prepare specifications, material and color swatches, OSM checklist and budget, cost monitoring, Architectural blue prints (for Retail Affiliates only) Owner’s Instruction Slip, Request for Information, and all other needed documents for owner’s approval and/or site implementation

• Monitor and ensure the project (inclusive of drawing preparation and implementation as well OSM delivery and installation) are all within the timeline and budget and compliant to SM Standards/ approved design criteria

• Initiate ordering of architectural materials either thru bid or thru PR form

• Attend site inspections which includes pre-construction assessment, monitoring of actual site project status, inspection of mock-ups, monitoring of site implementation if as per drawings and EDD Standards, and punch listing

• Project Documentation and Filing from Project Start to Close-out, for onward checking of respective manager

• Assist DM/RDM in all needed documentation to secure management approval

• Responsible for securing complete project close-out (Certificate of Completions, Full Payment to Suppliers and Contractors, etc.)

• Communicates issues and concerns to various departments regarding the project being handled.

• Attends meetings in coordination with different stakeholders (within internal or external relationships of the job scope).
