Job summary

SM Prime Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Design Assistant Manager to drive planning and design across projects. You will translate vision into preliminary concepts, coordinate with departments and consultants, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of architectural experience, strong presentation skills, and leadership ability. Onsite work at MOA Complex, Pasay City is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 3–5 years of experience working in architecture.
• Solid capability in architectural planning and design analysis to develop concepts and layouts aligned with project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design Planning and Concept Development: translate vision into preliminary architectural concepts, planning studies, and design directions.
• Prepare preliminary design schemes, space planning strategies, and development layouts to support feasibility and decision-making.
• Review design outputs to ensure alignment with approved project parameters, brand standards, and development intent.
• Design Coordination and Stakeholder Alignment: coordinate with internal departments, external consultants, and stakeholders to clarify design intent, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Assist in monitoring design progress and flag risks, gaps, or inconsistencies affecting objectives.
• Technical & Regulatory Compliance: review design proposals for codes, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
• Coordinate with technical teams and consultants to address compliance issues and revisions.
• Design Documentation & Project Support: prepare design briefs, presentations, and project documentation for approvals and reviews.
• Maintain organized records of design iterations and coordination outputs for continuity.
• Leadership & People Management: lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance goals.
• Proficiency in MS Office and industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop) to support workflows.
• Candidate must be willing to work onsite at MOA Complex, Pasay City.
