Job summary

Solidhouse Builders and Construction Inc. is seeking a capable Civil/Structural professional to supervise and coordinate fast-track LGSF site activities.

You will ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules while coordinating with engineers and MEP teams on site. The role requires strong reading of complex drawings, proficiency in LGSF processes, and hands-on management of crews and subcontractors to achieve seamless integration of frame, panels, and cladding with safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; licensed PE/PRC preferred.
• Knowledge of full LGSF process: design, detailing, procurement, fabrication and installation.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; verify materials to specs.
• Familiarity with NSCP 2015 and related construction methods; experience with prefab/modular preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily site activities; ensure work is executed per approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• QC on incoming LGSF components — verify panels, joists, and trusses against the fabrication drawings and cut lists before erection.
• Coordinate the LGSF sequence: foundation/base-plate setup, panel layout and erection, bracing, floor and roof framing, then MEP first-fix within the steel cavities.
• Manage installation crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders; run trade coordination so MEP and cladding integrate cleanly with the frame.
• Track progress, materials, and site logistics; flag deviations and manage revisions back to the design team.
• Enforce safety protocols specific to steel erection and lifting.
• Balance structural requirements with architectural intent; coordinate with the structural engineer, MEP, and detailers.
• Support the transition from architectural design to fabrication and on-site assembly, understanding the LGSF panel coding system that keeps architect, engineer, and manufacturer in sync.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (licensed PRC/PE preferred); Construction Management or Architecture.
• Knowledge of the full LGSF process — design, detailing, procurement, fabrication, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; verify materials meet approved specs.
• Working knowledge of applicable structural codes and construction methods (NSCP 2015 locally; USA/other codes if exporting).
• Experience level: 3–5 years in structural steel or LGSF site works for engineer roles; 5–10 years for project-manager level with multi-site coordination.
• Understanding of LGSF technology, steel-frame materials, and design-software-to-machine integration
• Ability to coordinate design across structural, MEP, and joinery disciplines.
• Experience designing for prefab/modular or steel-frame construction is a strong plus.
