Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management is seeking a Contracts Officer who is a strong communicator, highly organised and technically adept to manage approved lending deals through the contracts and execution process. You will work closely with the Head of Contracts and the Underwriting team to prepare, review and finalise documents.

You will handle multiple deals at different stages, ensure all documentation and checks are completed, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues to ensure deals progress

Qualifications

• Smart and switched on with good judgement.
• Detail-oriented with ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Communicative and easy to deal with internally and with clients.
• Proactive and able to ask questions rather than simply follow a checklist.
• Experience in lending, finance, contracts or administration is advantageous but not essential. Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and manage lending contracts using our automated contract preparation system.
• Coordinate with borrowers/customers, underwriters and internal staff to obtain outstanding information and documentation.
• Manage multiple deals and track their progress across stages.
• Complete required KYC, documentation and verification processes.
• Identify missing information, inconsistencies and potential risks in contracts and credit information.
• Escalate concerns to the Head of Contracts and ensure issues are resolved before funding.
