Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a focused Legal Counsel based in Singapore to provide practical legal advice across contracts, IP, governance and regulatory matters. You will draft and review agreements, support with policy development, and advise on legislative requirements.

The role requires a law degree with PQE and strong analytical and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders; salary is competitive and the contract is for 1 year with renewal potential.

Qualifications

Law degree and qualification to practise under the Legal Profession Act.
At least 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Experience in legal advisory, contract drafting/review, legal research, and stakeholder management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain legal matters clearly.

Responsibilities

Provide practical and comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of matters including contract law, IP, governance, criminal law, employment law, family law, and CPF-related regulatory matters.
Support policy development by analysing new policies and drafting legislative amendments in liaison with the Attorney-General's Chambers.
Draft, review and advise on contracts, MOUs, terms and conditions, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex legal issues.
Deliver legal talks and support legal technology initiatives.
Assist with prosecution matters under the Central Provident Fund Act as required.
Handle legal matters relating to enforcement and investigations.
