Job description

Role Overview

Our US partner provides coworking spaces inspired by hospitality with locations in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for handling day to day operational work, which may include (1) review of deal agreements and/or operational contracts including membership agreements, events, operational, IT, and/or HR agreements, (3) corporate secretarial management, (4) bad debt or litigation management, and/or (5) compliance matters.

An ideal candidate should have a proactive and hardworking work ethic and be structured and detail-oriented in their work. They should also be able to communicate well with the people around them, as well as with counterparties, including to be an proactive and independent worker, as well as commercially balanced and market-savvy. The Legal Counsel Manager, APAC will report to the Director of Legal, APAC.

Who you are

• Hold a qualification from an accredited institution
• With minimum of 3-5 years of inhouse legal experience, in particular in handling deal and operational contracts review, corporate secretarial and bad debt and litigation management. Compliance expertise would be a bonus.
• Experience in a real estate, service office or co-working space will be an added advantage
• Proven track record in handling multiple projects on tight timelines efficiently and successfully
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
