Qualifications

Responsibilities

Location: Philippines - Work From Home

Schedule: 5-6 days, 8 hours each (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri) 08:00 - 17:00 (MST)

Description:

A Legal Case Manager plays a pivotal role in the efficient progression of legal cases by providing comprehensive support to attorneys and legal teams. This position is responsible for maintaining case files, coordinating with all involved parties, tracking deadlines, and organizing discovery documents, ensuring smooth communication and optimal resource management. The goal is to streamline legal operations, enhance client satisfaction, and contribute to the successful resolution of cases.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of various case files (e.g., Family, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury) from initial intake through to trial or settlement.
  • Assist with file management, organizing legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials; maintain records of all client interactions.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, legal professionals, and third parties, managing expectations and providing updates on case progress.
  • Manage scheduling for appointments, court dates, and deadlines; coordinate resources and logistical needs within legal software or CRM systems.
  • Adhere to legal procedures, protocols, and quality standards including data privacy and confidentiality; conduct quality control on case files.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred; law degree is a plus.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Legal Case Manager, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant.
  • Proficient in legal case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and legal research platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex legal information clearly.
  • Strong active listening, empathy, and professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines with accuracy and confidentiality.
