Job summary

Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. is seeking a competent Legal Business Partner to support the organization’s legal and regulatory needs.

This role ensures full compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, manages contracts, litigation, and corporate governance to minimize legal risk. The ideal candidate has a law degree, Philippine Bar, 5+ years in law practice, and preferably FMCG/manufacturing in-house exposure; strong communication and drafting skills; proficient in MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)/JD; Member of the Philippine Bar
• 5+ years experience in the practice of law
• Preferably with experience in law firm/s and as in-house counsel for FMCG / manufacturing companies

Responsibilities

• Contracts Management: Draft, review, and interpret all company contracts and legal documents
• Litigation Management: Manage ongoing cases and coordinate with external counsel
• Corporate Governance & Compliance: Develop and implement governance policies and ensure compliance
• Legal Advice & Reporting: Provide timely legal opinions and review internal policies
• General Legal Support: Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WILL YOU DO

We are looking for a competent and strategic Legal Business Partner to support the organization’s legal and regulatory needs. This role is responsible for ensuring that the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, thereby minimizing legal risk. The role also includes managing legal matters related to contracts, litigation, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Contracts Management
  • Draft, review, and interpret all company contracts and legal documents.
  • Assist business units in contract negotiations.
  • Maintain and update standard contract templates for company use.
  • Ensure all business transactions are legally covered and aligned with company practices.
• Litigation Management
  • Manage and monitor all ongoing legal cases.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders to protect company interests.
  • Track case developments and ensure optimal outcomes for the company.
• Corporate Governance & Compliance
  • Support business units with day-to-day legal concerns.
  • Develop and implement governance policies.
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with laws and regulations.
• Legal Advice & Reporting
  • Provide timely legal opinions and recommendations on legal matters.
  • Review and interpret internal policies.
  • Conduct legal research as needed.
• General Legal Support
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)/Juris Doctor (JD); Member of the Philippine Bar
• Experience:
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in the practice of law
  • Preferably with experience in law firm/s and as in-house counsel for FMCG / manufacturing companies
