I. Job Summary
The Learning & OD Officer supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of employee training, leadership development, organization development, and talent management programs across the organization. This role helps translate enterprise people strategy into implementation-ready programs and activities. He/she also partners with HRBPs and HR Services to ensure smooth implementation of programs.
II. Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinates the end-to-end training cycle: conduct of needs analysis, program scheduling, vendor/facilitator sourcing, qualification & coordination, logistics preparation, post-training evaluation and training documentation. This includes supporting the design and rollout of leadership development programs. Also acts as LMS administrator.
- Supports conduct of OD diagnostics such as engagement surveys and organizational assessments. Helps prepare OD-related materials with analysis, for reporting, etc. as needed. Assists in designing and documenting organizational structures.
- Assists in the administration of talent management initiatives such as but not limited to performance management, competency development, talent assessments for career movements. This is in close coordination and partnership with the HR Business Partners (HRBPs).
- Maintains documentation, templates, trackers, talent data such as competency profiles, talent cards, individual development plans (IDPs), etc, with accuracy, confidentiality, and audit ready. Prepares talent reports and presentation materials as requested.
- Monitors standardized implementation of HR policies and procedures across different business units and divisions, in coordination with the HRBPs.
- From time to time, assists in research and benchmarking practices for the enhancements of talent program design.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the superior.
III. Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
- With 2-4 years of relevant experience in L&D, OD, talent management, or a generalist HR role with exposure to these functions
- Experience working in a manufacturing organizational context is an advantage
- Working knowledge of talent assessment tools and frameworks (e.g., competency models, 9-box grids, learning agility frameworks) is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and various AI tools
- Experienced in administering a Learning Management System (eg. Disprz/Darwinbox, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms)
