Goldilocks Bakeshop Inc. is seeking an experienced L&D professional to drive end-to-end store operations training in the Philippines. You will design course materials, develop modules, and reference Store SOPs, PIGs, and SME inputs to ensure high-quality training across channels.
The role requires facilitation of virtual, face-to-face, and blended formats, plus shadow shifts and store openings. Collaboration with Area Managers and BU Heads will ensure timely delivery and compliant training
The role will primarily support the Learning & Development (L&D) function for Sales & Store Operations:
Implement end-to-endstore operationstraining.
Design, create (shoot videos in some cases), andupdate courseandmodule materialsfor store operations training program (e.g. product launch training, inventory module, store opening,etc.) using Store SOPs (Store Operating Procedures), PIGs (Product Information Guide), SME (Subject Matter Expert) inputs,etc. as reference
Facilitate and managevirtual, face-to-face (F2F), and blended learning programs
Facilitate shadow shift and store opening training
Ensure all SOTP/ store compliance trainingprogram requirements are completed by participants for assigned batches.
Coordinatewith stakeholders (e.g. Area Managers, Business Unit Heads, etc.) on schedules, logistics, requirements, etc. of training programs.
Prepare training evaluation reports and use data-driven insights to recommend improvements in training design and delivery.
Maintain and ensure completeness of training databases, records, and documentation.
Execute training administration activities, including vendor coordination, payment processing, invitation sending, email communications, and training charge-backs.
Support training needs analysis.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the department or management team.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, HRIM, Business Management, or a related field.
Certification in Training Facilitation, Train-the-Trainer, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or TESDA/DOLE-accredited programs is an advantage.
3-5 years of experience in end-to-end Learning & Development, including training needs analysis,instructional design, content development, facilitation, multi-channel learning delivery, and training effectiveness evaluation.
Strong operational knowledge and experience in store operations, demonstrated through any of the following:
At least 1-2 years as a Store Manager, with hands-on experience in inventory management, cashiering, customer service, forecasting and ordering, fund management, and overall store operations; or
At least 3 years as a Crew Leader, OIC, or equivalent frontline leadership role, with substantial exposure to inventory management, cashiering, customer service, ordering, and fund management; or
Experience in facilitating, designing, developing, and delivering training programs on store operations, including inventory management, cashiering, customer service, forecasting and ordering, fund management, and related operational processes.
Experience partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), business leaders, and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and continuously improve technical and operational training programs.
Experience managing multiple training programs, projects, and stakeholders from planning through implementation and evaluation.
Strong knowledge and application of adult learning principles, learning methodologies (e.g., 70-20-10, microlearning, learning journeys), and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
Strong facilitation, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage employees, and partner with SMEs, leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver results within timelines.
Systems-thinking, analytical, and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify capability gaps, interpret data, recommend learning solutions, and measure training effectiveness.
High attention to detail and strong documentation skills, including training records management, reporting, action tracking, and learning analytics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams, and related collaboration tools.
Proficient in Canva, CapCut, or similar graphic design, multimedia, and video editing tools for learning content development.
Experience converting instructor-led training programs into blended, self-directed, digital, or just-in-timelearning solutions.
Role may require local travel, if the need arises.
