The Learning, Development, & Engagement (LDE) Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing employee learning, engagement, and people experience initiatives that support organizational growth and culture. The role focuses on identifying training and development needs, coordinating learning programs, driving employee engagement activities, and strengthening internal communications across the organization.
The LDE Officer plays a key role in enhancing the employee experience through impactful training programs, meaningful engagement activities, and effective people operations support. This position requires a highly organized, creative, and people-oriented professional with strong communication, event management, and graphic design skills.
Identify organizational training and development needs through coordination with department heads, employee feedback, and performance trends.
Manage and coordinate various learning and development initiatives, including:
Skill-based training
Behavioral and soft skills training
Compliance and regulatory training
Leadership development programs
Digital and workplace technology training
Workplace safety training
Product and solutions training
Develop training calendars and learning plans aligned with business objectives.
Source, coordinate, and manage external training providers and learning partners when necessary.
Organize and facilitate internal and external learning sessions, workshops, and seminars.
Monitor training attendance, participation, completion, and effectiveness.
Prepare post-training reports, evaluations, and analytics.
Maintain training records, certifications, and documentation.
Facilitate New Employee Orientation programs for all newly hired employees.
Ensure completion and acknowledgment of company policies and the Employee Handbook.
Support onboarding activities to ensure a positive and engaging employee experience from Day 1.
Develop and manage the annual employee engagement and cultural activities calendar.
Plan and execute employee engagement programs, including onsite and offsite events, celebrations, team-building activities, and company initiatives.
Create engagement communications, promotional materials, posters, presentations, and event-related content.
Conduct employee surveys, engagement feedback activities, and pulse checks.
Prepare survey analysis, engagement insights, and infographic reports for management review.
Manage event logistics, coordination, supplier communications, and budget monitoring.
Handle administrative and operational requirements related to engagement activities and events.
Promote a positive workplace culture through creative and impactful engagement initiatives.
Prepare and distribute People Operations announcements and notifications, including:
Holiday advisories, Birthday greetings, Employment anniversary recognitions
Employee-related communications and announcements
Support internal communication campaigns and employee awareness initiatives.
Ensure timely and professional communication across all employee touchpoints.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate head or management from time to time in support of business operations and organizational objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Communication, or any related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, HR, or related functions.
Proven experience in organizing corporate events, employee engagement activities, and training programs.
Strong background in training coordination, facilitation, and learning administration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Creative and highly skilled in presentation and graphic design tools such as:
Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Office/365
Other multimedia or design platforms
Strong event management and project coordination skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in preparing reports, surveys, analytics, and engagement presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees across all organizational levels.
Experience in employee communications, employer branding, or culture-building initiatives is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and digital collaboration tools.
Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and in a fast-paced environment.
