Role Overview:

The Learning & Development Associate Manager manages the company’s capabilities and development programs for employees to have the appropriate level of competence to effectively perform their jobs and strengthen the internal talent bench of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and planning for the overall Training / Capability Strategy of the company so that it is aligned to the business priorities.
• Provide direction to the Training & Development team and the function-specific training plan design and management so that the overall strategy cascades into specific areas.
• Design the Annual Budget based on the approved Training Plan of the company to ensure that expenses for the year will be covered.
• Lead, through the Training & Development Team, the execution of the Training Plan for the rest of the year. This will include the timely monitoring of the budget versus the actual expenses and preparation of a Rolling Estimate if needed. This will also involve authorization of ad hoc trainings as needed when business priorities change.
• Negotiate and maintain a good relationship with the external training providers to ensure that the company has a position of leverage and that the budget requirements are met and to ensure flawless execution of all activities.
• Partner with the Senior Leadership Team in leading and driving the Training/Capability Strategy of the company.
• Lead and work with the rest of the Talent team the overall strategy for Development Agendas of the employees of the company so that individual capability needs are met.
• Enable the Training & Development team in formulating the Development Agendas for function leaders.
• Drive and monitor the execution of the Development Agendas for the rest of the year.
• Lead the process of sending key employees in different functions to other countries that KOF operates in (either through Cell Training or Talent Exchange Program). This will ensure effective transfer of knowledge and provides an avenue for sharing of best practices.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs, including leadership and functional capability-building initiatives.
• Skilled in identifying learning gaps, conducting training needs analysis, and recommending appropriate learning interventions.
• Strong background in measuring training effectiveness, learning application, and behavioral change through metrics and evaluation frameworks.
• Experienced in end-to-end program conceptualization, project management, and annual learning strategy or training planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with business leaders and functional teams.
• Knowledge of talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs is highly preferred.
