The Specialist for Learning & Talent is responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing learning
initiatives that build employee capability, strengthen leadership pipelines, and support succession
planning. The role ensures learning programs are aligned with business goals, performance management
outcomes, and future talent needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Training, Vendor Sourcing, Talent Development and management, or a related Learning and People Management function.
- Preferred: Experience in facilitating Training and Workshops, developing learning materials, learning needs analysis and using digital learning platforms.
- Certifications (a plus): Training facilitation, coaching, or instructional design certifications.
Job Responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Design, coordinate, and curate learning programs including professional skills, leadership development, and soft skills training.
- Conduct Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) using performance data, engagement surveys, and stakeholder inputs.
- Develop learning plans for underperforming employees in partnership with managers and HRBPs.
- Curate and manage blended learning solutions (face-to-face, virtual, on-the-job, and self-paced).
- Facilitate or co-facilitate training sessions when required.
- Source and manage external training providers, facilitators, and vendors.
Talent Development & Succession Planning
- Support the identification of high-potential (HiPo) employees based on performance and potential criteria.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of individual development plans (IDPs) for HiPo and successors.
- Maintain succession planning data, readiness levels, and development progress.
Performance & Capability Enablement
- Collaborate with the Performance Management team to translate PMS results into targeted development interventions.
- Support managers in strengthening coaching, feedback, and people management capabilities.
- Contribute to leadership frameworks, competency models, and career pathways.
Training Operations & Administration
- Manage training calendars, nominations, attendance, and completion tracking (automated).
- Maintain accurate training records, reports, and learning dashboards.
- Administer post-training evaluations, assessments, and training effectiveness surveys.
- Ensure compliance with internal training standards and documentation requirements.
Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track and report training KPIs such as completion rates, learning effectiveness, and satisfaction scores.
- Analyze data to recommend improvements to programs and learning strategies.
- Continuously improve learning content and delivery methods based on feedback and results.
- Manage LMS tools such as Leonardo, LinkedIn Learning and TLC (HR Sprout)
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with HRBP, BU managers and department heads to align learning initiatives with team goals.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees on development and career-related concerns.
- Support HR-led initiatives related to culture, engagement, and leadership capability building.
