Yngen Datacom Corp. is seeking a proactive Learning and Development Officer to drive training programs focused on soft skills, leadership, and professional growth in Laguna, Philippines.
The role emphasizes on-the-floor observations, coaching, and continuous improvement of training content, with collaboration across Operations and HR to meet learning needs and performance goals.
We're looking for a proactive and results-driven Learning and Development Officer to support the delivery and continuous improvement of training programs focused on soft skills, leadership development, communication, and professional growth.
Facilitate Training: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions focused on soft skills, leadership, communication, and professional development.
Observe & Support Application: Conduct on-the-floor observations to assess how participants apply the skills and behaviors learned during training in their day-to-day work.
Reinforce Learning: Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to help participants apply new skills and improve their performance.
Assess & Evaluate: Develop and administer pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge retention, identify skill gaps, and evaluate training effectiveness.
Monitor Training Progress: Track learner attendance, assessment results, completion rates, and other relevant training metrics.
Training Documentation: Maintain accurate training records, reports, and documentation to support learning initiatives and performance tracking.
Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and use training data and observations to recommend improvements to training materials, activities, and delivery approaches.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Operations, HR, and other stakeholders to understand learning needs and support relevant development initiatives.
1 year of experience in Learning & Development, Corporate Training, or a related field. BPO training experience is a strong advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in training and development.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and effectively engage with different types of learners.
Comfortable conducting on-the-floor observations and coaching sessions.
Basic proficiency in preparing training reports, tracking learning metrics, and using Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple training activities and priorities.
