Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Wastewater Modelling Lead to drive the development, calibration and verification of wastewater network models using InfoWorks ICM and related tools. You will act as technical lead on major projects, providing robust QA and guiding planning for resilience and growth.

The role emphasizes building Manila capabilities, mentoring staff, and ensuring cross‑functional collaboration with UK, Ireland, Australia and other markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Hydrology or a related discipline.
• Master's degree or equivalent advanced technical training in hydraulics, water resources, environmental engineering or related field would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, calibration and verification of wastewater network models using InfoWorks ICM or similar platforms.
• Act as technical lead or senior reviewer on major modelling projects, frameworks and programmes.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across multiple projects, ensuring models, calculations, assumptions and deliverables are robust and traceable.
• Guide strategic planning, storm overflow reduction, network resilience, growth assessment, flood risk and pollution reduction initiatives.
• Support scope development, tender responses, fee inputs and technical approaches where required.
• Help build Manila as a trusted centre for wastewater modelling and InfoWorks ICM delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior, senior and specialist modelling staff through technical guidance, structured review and knowledge sharing.
