Job summary

Arcadis Philippines is seeking a Principal Engineer - Wastewater to lead the development of wastewater models, manage project scope, and mentor a growing modelling team.

The role requires advanced hydraulic modelling expertise, strong client engagement, and delivery of high-quality reports while aligning with UK regulatory standards. You will collaborate with UK modelling teams and support bids and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 11-14 years of experience in water resources or civil engineering.
• Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for wastewater projects.
• Skilled in team and stakeholder coordination and management.
• Proficient in InfoWorks ICM.
• HADES knowledge would be advantageous.
• Competent in using GIS software packages.
• Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (ICE or CIWEM).
• Proven experience in model QA procedures.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Advanced abilities in spreadsheet-based data analysis.
• Coding/Automation experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a range of wastewater modelling projects and manage tasks of various scales.
• Review and verify sewer networks and modelling outputs.
• Support designers at concept and detailed design stages.
• Review technical reports and presentations for quality.
• Guide junior team members and mentor staff.
• Assist with bids including narratives, cost estimates, and programmes.
