Job summary

MIT ACADEMY SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Lead Trainer to oversee trainers across cities and trades under the EASE project in Ethiopia. You will lead, coach, and coordinate training activities while ensuring safety and inclusive practices.

You will develop and customize curricula, design modules and assessments, conduct Training of Trainers, monitor progress, and maintain records for reporting. A minimum of 5 years in skill-development is required, with a degree in a related engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in skill-development/training projects.
• Experience leading trainers and conducting Training of Trainers programmes.
• Experience in preparing and customizing training materials.
• Experience with on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and demand-driven training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate trainers across assigned cities and trades.
• Develop and customize curricula, training modules, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
• Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) and provide ongoing coaching.
• Supervise classroom, workshop, practical, and on-the-job training.
• Monitor training quality, trainer performance, attendance, and trainee progress.
• Ensure occupational safety, safeguarding, and inclusive training requirements.
• Coordinate assessments, competency certification, and remedial training.
• Maintain training records and contribute to project reports.
