Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities and HVAC Manager to join our operations team in Parañaque City, Metro Manila.

This full-time role oversees all facilities management and HVAC systems to ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and optimal operational performance. Responsibilities include leading maintenance staff, coordinating with contractors, managing budgets, and maintaining records of inspections and repairs to support uninterrupted cold storage

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities management and HVAC maintenance (cold storage preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration tech.
• Certifications in HVAC or facilities management are desirable.
• Experience with preventative maintenance planning and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and performance of HVAC systems in the cold storage facility.

About the role

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities and HVAC Manager to join our operations team in Parañaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our cold storage facilities. As Facilities and HVAC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all facilities management and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal operational performance, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment. This role is essential to our business continuity and directly impacts our ability to preserve product quality and meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, repair and performance of all HVAC systems and equipment within the cold storage facility to ensure optimal temperature and humidity control

• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate with contractors to conduct regular inspections, servicing and upgrades of mechanical systems

• Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-effective solutions to improve facility efficiency without compromising storage conditions

• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards and areas for improvement

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to cold storage operations and facilities management

• Manage facilities-related budgets, including procurement of spare parts, maintenance contracts and equipment upgrades

• Lead and supervise facilities maintenance staff, providing training, guidance and performance management

• Respond promptly to emergency situations such as equipment failures or system breakdowns to minimise downtime

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment performance and compliance certifications

• Collaborate with operations and management teams to prioritise maintenance activities and support facility expansion or modification projects

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management and HVAC maintenance, preferably within cold storage, warehousing or similar industrial environments

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration technology and mechanical equipment used in industrial facilities

• Relevant certifications such as HVAC Technician certification, mechanical engineering qualifications or facilities management credentials

• Demonstrated experience in preventative maintenance planning, equipment troubleshooting and system optimisation

• Proficiency in facilities management software, computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to industrial facilities and cold storage operations

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and develop maintenance staff

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in identifying and resolving complex technical issues

• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors and regulatory authorities

• Physical capability to conduct facility inspections and work in varying temperature environments
