Job summary

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead and inspire kitchen teams in delivering Thai-inspired hospitality with global standards. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality, manage inventories and support menu planning.

The role requires at least 2 years in a 5-star hotel, strong HACCP knowledge, cost-control abilities, and leadership to train staff. You will collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef to uphold Dusit's brand and guest experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Sous Chef experience in a 5 star hotel.
• Strong working knowledge in cuisine (French, Italian, Chinese, Thai).
• Strong understanding of HACCP.
• Proven track record of cost control including food, equipment, labor and waste.
• Demonstrates passion for menu planning and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the entire kitchen staff, including line cooks and dishwashers.
• Coordinate with other managers for hotel kitchen activities.
• Assist with menu planning and testing of new recipes.
• Ensure kitchen safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are met.
• Monitor portion sizes, and control food costs and waste.
