Job summary

Everise, a global experience company, is seeking a Lead – Payroll in Taguig, Philippines. You will oversee the preparation, execution, distribution, and maintenance of bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance across states and international aspects.

The role requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, proficiency with Workday, and strong confidentiality. You will collaborate with HR, manage reports, and support payroll tax reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or the equivalent of a minimum of 3-5 years related work experience in payroll.
• Thorough knowledge of common company and departmental practice and procedures related to payroll activities.
• Previous payroll processing experience using Workday.
• Solid understanding of domestic and international payroll and payroll tax laws.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Must be able to work individually and within a dynamic team while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision while being involved with a variety of systems, technologies and different business areas.
• Must be able to work overtime, holidays and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process multi-state bi-weekly payroll runs including entering time and validating payroll prior to transmission.
• Process payroll adjustments such as retros, benefit adjustments, referral bonus, incentive awards, commissions and headset refunds.
• Process stop payments, direct deposit reversals and direct deposit returns.
• Validate, process, and fund off cycle manual checks.
• Reconcile taxes and earnings to ensure accurate tax forms.
• Provide assistance to HR associates on a daily basis.
• Prepare special reports for management.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and confidentiality of record content.
• Other duties as required.

Position Purpose

The Lead – Payroll is working under general supervision, this position requires thorough knowledge of standard practices used in the preparation, execution, distribution, and maintenance of bi-weekly payroll, offcycle payroll and payroll records for a growing organization.
