Job summary

Private Advertiser in Davao City is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance and equipment for processing and packaging lines in a food manufacturing setting.

You will ensure machines are properly conditioned, address equipment issues promptly, and develop preventive maintenance plans while guiding a team and coordinating shutdown workload schedules.

Experience in ISO/GMP/HACCP, strong MS Office skills, and a track record of managing maintenance programs are essential.

Qualifications

• College graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Technology, Engineering (EE/ME) or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices.
• With at least three (3) years’ work experience as Engineering Supervisor in a food manufacturing industry with knowledge in ISO/GMP/HACCP programs implementation.
• At least more than three (3) years plant level experience in handling Preventive Maintenance Program and with significant proven management experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point Presentation)

Responsibilities

• Ensures that processing and packaging machineries and equipment are properly conditioned.
• Ensures that problems pertaining to processing and packaging machineries, equipment and controls are attended promptly.
• Develops and recommends spare parts inventory listing for processing and packaging machineries
• Develops systems for the improvement of current company’s practice related to machineries and equipment
• Prepare shutdown workload schedule including their corresponding manpower requirement.
• Monitors the compliance of his subordinates to company’s rules and regulations.
• Other assignments that his immediate superior shall assign from time to time
