Private Advertiser is seeking a Logistics & Export/Import Documentation Specialist to oversee daily operations, coordinate with brokers and stations, and ensure compliant international shipments. You will lead a small team and drive accuracy in documentation, schedules, and cost controls.
Ideal candidates have FMCG or food industry experience, a customs/ logistics degree, and at least two years in export/import with supervisory responsibilities.
The Logistics & Export/Import Documentation Specialist oversees daily logistics operations and export/import documentation to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant movement of goods. The role leads a small team while coordinating with internal departments, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to support efficient local and international shipments.
** Note: Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Food Industry, or related fields is a MUST
Supervise day-to-day logistics operations, including local and international shipments.
Oversee the preparation and review of export/import documents to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and government agencies to facilitate smooth shipment processing.
Monitor shipment schedules, resolve logistics issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
Lead and support the Logistics Officer and Documentation Staff to achieve operational targets.
Prepare logistics reports and monitor key performance indicators such as shipment status, freight costs, and documentation accuracy.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, documentation efficiency, and cost management.
Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, International Business, Transportation Management, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in export/import logistics, international shipping, or supply chain operations.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading a logistics or documentation team.
Strong knowledge of export/import documentation, customs regulations, freight forwarding, and international shipping processes.
Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or export-oriented company.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Licensed Customs Broker.
Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
