Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Customer Service & Documentation specialist to handle customer interactions and related documentation, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service. The role focuses on resolving escalations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting logistics processes.

Responsibilities include booking, B/L handling, invoicing, pre-alerts, and vessel schedule updates, with emphasis on proactive communication with clients and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics/transportation or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in CS & Documentation, preferably in a shipping line.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of incoterms, billing requirements, import/export processes and regulations in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated customer inquiries and issues requiring intervention.
• Assist in resolving customer problems with guidance and expertise.
• Manage booking, Bills of Lading, billing, pre-alert documents, weekly reports and other CS tasks.
• Prepare and update consolidated vessel schedules for principals.
• Monitor transport status and relay updates to clients regarding location, arrival, departure, BL/House numbers, and document irregularities.
