Job summary

Tangent Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Team Lead to guide and support a team of field technicians. You will schedule tasks, monitor performance, and address issues to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

You will conduct regular team meetings, provide technical guidance, and train new technicians while maintaining accurate records and reports. This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to work with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a 4-year degree program, preferably IT-related.
• At least 1 year of supervisory/leadership experience in a technical services role.
• Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong data insight and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of field technicians, providing direction, support and performance feedback.
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members for optimal coverage and productivity.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and updates.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues.
• Ensure installations, repairs and maintenance meet high standards and client requirements.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for field service activities and issues.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and service quality.
• Train new technicians on procedures, technical skills, and safety.
• Pursue ongoing training to stay updated on technologies and best practices.
• Maintain records of field activities and time spent on tasks.
• Prepare regular reports on team performance and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers.
