Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a senior maintenance/operations lead to supervise teams handling HDD test systems and precise automation projects. You will manage installation plans, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and drive preventive maintenance programs while maintaining clear communication with customers.

The role requires mechatronics expertise, 5+ years in related fields, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or related engineering.
5+ years of HDD test systems, service, maintenance experience.
Proven leadership of a team of at least 3.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the team to achieve operational goals.
Develop and manage employee work plans and schedules.
Oversee new machine installation projects, ensuring timely delivery.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on HDD test systems, including motors, drivers, sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, and control panels.
Continuously improve troubleshooting methods and processes.
Develop preventive and corrective maintenance execution plans.
Fluent in 8D reports using tools like FMEA, Fishbone, 5-Why, and 4W1H.
Communicate with customers through installation plans, service reports, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships for satisfaction and long-term partnership.
