Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Facilities Engineering Officer to execute and support the upkeep of kitchen facilities, equipment, and related assets across multiple outlets. You will assist with preventive maintenance, data accuracy, and cost-effective vendor coordination, reporting to the Facilities and Repairs Manager.

Role requires working knowledge of civil, electrical, HVAC systems and kitchen equipment, with Lean Six Sigma familiarity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2–3 years of facilities, repair, or maintenance experience; F&B/ hospitality multi-site preferred.
Knowledge of civil/architectural, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems; kitchen equipment exposure is a plus.
Licensed Electrical Engineer or Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.
Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage; experience with ERP/CMMS tools (NetSuite) is expected.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day facilities operations support to ensure safety and compliance.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for civil, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Coordinate repair activities and maintain equipment records and schedules.
Monitor asset conditions and support lifecycle planning and budget tracking.
Assist vendor/contractor coordination and procurement for parts and services.
Help ensure safety protocols, audits, and incident-management processes are followed.
